Jesse Davidson Notches 20th Ascot Park Winner Longshots Combine for 45.60 Double, Largest of the Meeting By It. E. HURLEY ASCOT PARK, Cu5*ahoga Falls, Ohio, May 1. — Leading apprentice Jesse Davidson gained his 20th winner of the meeting and the first for his contract employer, as he piloted George Striblings Osophar to a neck victory over Paul Holthus Formal Pose with Cremona Farms Worth-ington a length and a half further back in third position. Osophar. making but his third start or the current campaign, raced the G1 furlongs in 1:23 flat and paid 0.60 after coming between horses on the turn and outfinishing Formal Pose in the final sixteenth of a mile. It was the initial victory for Stribling at the meeting and the win moved Davidson to within one winning mount of leading rider Guy Smithson who is currently under a ten day suspension.
