GLENBROOM, a forward factor from the beginning, finished well to outlast SENTRY. The latter responded to pressure in the final eighth and finished well. WYNN E. closed gamely under urging. FRANCIS jumped well throughout, responded to urging when called upon, moved up rapidly rounding the far turn, crossed over and impeded CURTAIN CALL, then drew clear under urging at the end. CURTAIN CALL was rated along under steadying restraint, moved up with a rush, on the inside, but was then knocked back -by ST. FRANCIS. ACTION bobbled at several of his fences and finished well. LORD JOHNSON showed speed and had no mishaps. ROYAL RIOT and DESERT THORN bumped each other rounding the first turn when the latter was bearing out. DESERT THORN also bore out badly at the next turn.
