LITTLE JAY PROVIDES SURPRISE MONTREAL; Que., May 29. With the withdrawal of Glisk, six remained to contest the Henry Morgan Cup, a mile race and principle attraction today at Blue Bonnets. A mild surprise resulted when Little Jay, from the stable of A. G. Dunlap, led the odds-on -favorite, J. F. OBriens Conacher, to the finish by a length and one-quarter. Wild Laurel, racing for Graffagnirii and Valenti, was third, a head before J. E. Hughes Jolly Gal, General Toy and Lonesome Glory. Another good crowd was on hand for the fifth days program of the Montreal Jockey Clubs fourteen-day meeting. The track was in, a slow condition, caused by the heavy rains of last night and the early morning. The Henry Morgan Company presented the owner of the winner with a handsome silver cup.
