CHILHEE worked his way forward steadily between horses, raced to the outside entering the stretch, then wore down JOHNNY BANE while stumbling ncaring the finish. JOHNNY BANE showed good speed from the beginning, saved ground throughout, but faltered in the final sixteenth. MOLL followed the pace Tinder mild urging, but tired when put to a drive. MASKED BELLE broke fast, dropped back, but closed well in the late stages. SCHUIE moved up fast in the opening quarter, but could not menace the leader and tired. Overweight Wayaloft, 1 pound. . GIBBYS CHOICE followed the early pace under reserve, moved up steadily on the outside when called upon and drew out easily after taking command. IRISH WAKE was under restraint for three-eighths, went to the front under urging, but could not stave off the winner. PRINCE SULIEMAN displayed good speed early, saved ground, but was no match for the first two. KOZAK, well back early, improved his position with a rush, but could not threaten in the stretch. G. trailed in the early stages, moved up fast rounding the turn, but weakened. GOOD CHEER had good speed for a half mile. EVENING GOWN tired badly and was eased up irf the final eighth. TERRIER showed good speed in the going, saved ground, disposed of RICKEY ROO entering the stretch, but faltered in the final eighth. AL NEIMAN followed the pace under steadying restraint, raced to the front between calls when SNAPLOCK faltered, but could not stave off the winner. The latter had little difficulty assuming command, set a steady pace under careful ratine but tired badly in the final sixteenth. WHIPPER CRACKER worked his way forward gradually from a slow beginning and finished well. GOOD POLITIAN had late speed. MR. SPONGE tired badly. The latter followed tho leader closely, was called upon approaching the, stretch turn, assumed a slight lead, but faltered right near the end while bearing in on the winner. INDIAN ,RED was far back in the- early stages and made up ground slowly. SETHS BALLOT broke in motion, but was unable to hold his advantage and ran in spots. MISS GLACE tired.
