MARYS CHOICE, rated in closest attendance of the pace, wore down FREESTONE in the final eighth and outlasted FOOLS FOLLY. The latter, slow to settle into her best stride, closed fast through the final eighth and was wearing down the winner at the end. FREESTONE had speed from the start, disposed of STARANAPALE, took command entering the stretch, then tired. DONNAGAY .dropped back entering the stretch, but made up ground thereafter. FAINE had speed from the beginning, set nearly all the pace, closed well, but was no match for the winner. TOUT FEU, away fast, dropped out of it in the early stages, but closed with a rush" through the stretch. ELISE S., well placed throughout, quit in the final eighth. GINGERY sprinted into command at once, was rated along in the lead, but tired in the final eighth. MINT JAKE raced evenly. AD ASTRA was outrun early, but dosed a big gap.
