MARTIN DUKE DIES CINCINNATI, Ohio, May 29. Martin A. Dukef 68, for many years connected, with a racing publication, and also one of the raping officials of the old Newport, Ky., race track, died suddenly at 8 a. m., Wednesday morning from a stroke, at his home, 3912 Bur-wood Avenue, South Norwood, Ohio. The grand old man "of racing, known to thousands of people for his charitable deeds, arose early this morning and, while preparing to leave home for his desk at the Racing Record office, was suddenly seized with a cerebral hemorrhage. He was rused to a hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Two; daughters, Misses Marietta and Helen Duke, survive him. The funeral has been set for 2 oclock Saturday afternoon, with interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
