I FEATURE CONTEST DIVIDED Continued from first page. the unruly actions of Romney Royal, and he was finally sent to the outside of the stalls and the start was not exactly a good one. Mamie Dioguardis Dunlilt, bv reason of his unruly actions at the post, "had all the best of the start in the six furlongs of the second race when he was off flying from a position outside the stalls. It carried him safely home before M. Marmorsteins Aroused and third went to Marshall A. Smiths Joyride, with Elwawa fourth. Dunlilt was sent away slightly back of the others but the fact he was in motion gave, him the advantage and in a dozen strides he was in front and "winging" along under a hustling ride by Paradise. Aroused was soon in second place but could come no closer, though he hung on well through the stretch to be beaten a length and a half. It was a nice lot of juveniles met in the third race at six furlongs. It was under claiming conditions and went to P. M. Pikes Swift Lad, which showed improved form and dominated all the running under a powerful ride by Workman. Warren Wrights Talked About, the favorite, took second place, in a close finish, with Hugh W. Jacksons Clamorous, with a photograph deciding that part of the purse and Cardinalis was a distant fourth. At the end of the card Hugh W. Jacksons Speed, capably ridden by Johnny Gilbert, was winner by half a length over Joseph Wormscrs Dutch Uncle, and John McPher-sons Glastonbury was along to take third from Bright Chance. Dona Dulcina made the pace in the early stages, but Gilbert sent Speed through leaving the back stretch, and when clear rated him along to have him
