COMMISSION GRANTS TROPICAL PARK TWO EXTRA DAYS MIAMI, Fla., Oct. 9. The Florida Racing Commission granted the request of William V. Dwyer, managing director of the Gabies Racing Association, to extend the first meet- ing at Tropical Park two days. The meeting I will open December 14 for twenty-five days. Originally it was to run twenty-three days from December 16. It will open on a Monday, instead of Wednesday. This will give Tropical Park a season of fifty days, the second meeting, from March 8 to April 3, embracing twenty-five days also. Hialeah Park will have a consecutive season of forty-six days from January 13 to March 6. It is expected that one of the two extra days granted Tropical Park will be a Charity Day.
