MOUNT ROYAL TURF NOTES E. Godins Tout Feu pulled up very sore after her engagement in the one and one-half miles race Thursday and will be out of training for the rest of the season. The stable of P. M. Sturm departed for Cincinnati, Ohio, Friday night for the River Downs meeting. A. Massie, former amateur bantam champion of New Jersey, saddled his first winner when Feuette was returned winner of the seventh race Thursday. Massie is a brother of Lew Massie, prominent light weight, who A is a visitor at the Mount Royal meeting. A Horsemen and employers of Mount Royal expressed their regret upon hearing of the death of Mrs. Gavidia in Havana, Cuba, mother of J. A. Gavidia, who has campaigned horses in Quebec during the season. J. OSullivan was granted a trainers license by the P. Q. R. A. and in the future will train Hourless Queen and Jim McCabe. A. Walker has taken over the plater Happy Fox from J. Leboeuf at private terms.
