I EPSOM DOWNS TURF NOTES f s e Completely recovered from a long illness which developed en route from Dade Park to Epsom Downs, Porter Call has been returned to training by E. B. Shipp, who is i handling the veteran racer for Mrs. E. B. i Shipp of Triplctt. Mo. Jules Lazard, Maissonneuve and Longueil, the trio of juveniles which has been resting up at Jefferson Park in New Orleans for some time, arrived at Epsom Downs in excellent condition, according to the statement of Frank Scremba, who is looking after theyoungsters for Joseph Cattarinich, Montreal sportsman. The stable of thoroughbreds owned by D. L. Ogle has been shipped to Arlington Downs for a brief rest preparatory to campaigning at the Texas jockey Clubs track. The horses included Infidox. Patch Pocket, Desert Call, Top Tax, Busy K., Still Worker and Polantescth. The latter three arc juve- i nilcs. The services of apprentice Warren Cor-nay. New Orleans lad, who has piloted ten winners this year at Epsom Downs, has been leased to W. A. Mikel for the period between the close of Arlington Downs and the opening of Alamo Downs, by Ed Mc-Cuan. The Crescent City boy will make his first appearance under colors in his homo town during that period.
