f SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES 4 . : : Garrett Watts fleet Silversmith, a consistent performer on Chicago tracks this season and winner of three handicaps at Sportsmans Park last year, will be seen in action at the local course during the coming meeting. Trainer J. J. Sirl will transfer the mare and also Gladess, Panic Relief and Daytoi, all owned by Watts, to Sportsmans Park Sunday. J. J. Troxler will make his first appearance at Soprtsmans Park this fall. He will race Taipan and Scout Azure for the Apple-ton Stable, and Jerry . H. for Mrs. G. R. Allen. Two divisions of the Chappel Bros. stable, one in charge of J. P. Ebclhart and the other in care of J. P. Keezek, will be represented during the local season. Each of the trainers will have ten head. John Oros transferred eight head, which race in his wifes name, from Lincoln Fields to Sportsmans Park. He will van over six more Sunday. W. J. Jenkinson has five horses at Sportsmans Park awaiting Mondays opening. He brought them from the West. C. Dale will van Well Heeled, Centennial, Blind Sage and All Devil, owned by Mrs. C. E. Dale, and French Knight and Gray Ethel, the property of K. Mayer, to the local course Saturday. D. Franklin has taken over Moll and Gay Blade for the Red Cross Stable, and Disarray for W. Stock, for racing at the Cicero course. Five horses, including his wifes Exponent, will be raced through the Sportsmans Park season, by W. L. Hoag. An addition to the local riding colony is Jack Mayer who came in from Akron.
