SEE BIG CROWDS AT DEL MAR Border Track Officials Believe Week-End Programs Will Strike Fancy of Public. LOS ANGELES, Calif., April 13. Of flcials of the Del Mar and Agua Caliente race tracks believe that the Saturday and Sunday week-ends of racing which have been scheduled for the entire month of July will draw big crowds from the entire west. Del Mar will inaugurate its sport on Saturday, July 3, Caliente will have a big Sunday, with a ,000 Fourth of July Handicap, and Del Mar will resume Monday, which will be the official day of celebration in the United States. Many horses will be vanned between the two tracks which are only about thirty-five miles apart. Inasmuch as Southern California lures practically as many tourists in summer as in winter, the sports promoters feel certain of entertaining large and enthusiastic crowds.
