DAILY AVERAGE TO BE ,000 Agua Caliente Announces 2,600 in Purses for First Six Days of Racing. AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, April 13. In the first six days of racing at the Agua Caliente track, which will begin its season Saturday, May 8, the total purse distribution, to horsemen will be 2,600, averaging better than ,000 a day. This distribution will ba for programs ranging from eight to ten races. Authorization for the distribution of thi3 sum was given today to Ben Holmes, racing secretary, by Eugene Normile, the tracks general manager. Holmes is now preparing the first condition book of the meeting. For the opening days of May 8 and 9, there will be nineteen races, nine the first day and ten the second, which wil lbe Sunday. The Sunday programs will all have at least ten events. For May 8, the distribution is as follows: five races at 00; two races at 00; one race at 00; one race at ,500. The ,500 race on May 8 will be the Inaugural Handicap. The. schedule for the first Sunday shows: Six races at 00; two races at 00; one race at 00; one race at ,200. The distribution of purses for the remaining four days of the first six-day period will be announced later.
