SEABISCUIT DOUBTFUL STARTER SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 13. Seabiscuit may not start in the 0,000 Marchbank Handicap Saturday because of a sore hoof. The Howard star was cut too thin on the hoof by the blacksmith plating him Saturday morning and the mistake caused a slight fever above the hoof Sunday. Trainer Tom Smith is in hopes that the soreness will subside soon, and if so Seabiscuit will be a starter in the Marchbank Handicap. Owner Howard stated today that if Seabiscuits name appears on the list when the entries are released Friday he will go postward Saturday.
