TERMISON broke fast, bore out badly at the first turn, drew clear when straightened out and easily held LUCKY CARGO safe. The latter, away well, showed good speed all the way, but could not get up. PANDONNA lacked early speed, saved ground on the lower turn, came to the oufiide in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. KERRYLITE tired badly. COLORATION showed some early speed. INDEPENDENT WAY, well placed in the early running, took the lead on the lower turn, drew clear entering the stretch, but had to be ridden out to hold HALLUCINATOR safe. The latter took a short lead shortly after the break, gave way on the lower turn, came again in the stretch and finished gamely. QUEER SIGHT, in close quarters shortly after the break, moved up steadily between horses, came to the outside in the stretch and finished gamely. LITTLE DREAM closed well. JUROR tired badly. SCRAMBOLA broke fast but was outrun early, came to the outside in the stretch and finished gamely. MY EMPRESS, well placed in the early running but on the outside, held on well all the way. METEORIC tired slightly near the end. MONTARIS showed a good effort. DANDY PORTE moved up fast entering the stretch, but hung in the drive. MARBLE GIRL saved ground entering the stretch. ROYAL AIR started slowly and far back early, was forced to race wide to enter contention, closed with a rush in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. DR. McLARNEY lacked early speed, worked his way up between horses and finished with good speed. TIDE TIME raced well but wide all the way. ANTE BELLUM tired badly. FREEZE showed brief early speed. WESTKO moved up fast on the back stretch, gained a contending position but tired badly in the last eighth. INDIAN BOY gained a forward position on the back stretch but tired badly.
