LONG BRANCH MEETING ENDS Royal Vintage Romps to Victory in OKeefe Handicap Session Proves Highly Profitable. TORONTO, Ont., June 16. The OKeefe Handicap, a gallop of one mile and a sixteenth, for three-year-olds and upward, foaled in Canada, featured the closing days program at the Long Branch Jockey Club track and it resulted in a comparatively easy victory for M. J.. Sansones Royal Vintage, good son of Spey Pearl and Jesava. The much improved Lipton from the Cos-grave Stable wound up in second place, two lengths behind the winner and a length and one-half before the Parkwood Stables Epicurus. Favored with ideal racing weather, a banner crowd visited the suburban course for the closing days festivities. The meeting was a most successful one from every standpoint.
