Allred to the legislature protesting against the house amendment to make pending anti-gambling legislation so comprehensive as to outlaw social card games, provoked bitter arguments in both branches yesterday, Opponents of the governor called the message an attempt to "bullwhip" the legislators into passing class legislation.
