, j AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES : e A. G. Vanderbilt reported that his stake winner, Good Gamble, died from colic. At private terms, Dewey Bentham purchased the filly Gold Quest from the Green-tree Stable. Trainer George Conway reported that the Glen Riddle Stables War Admiral, winner of the "triple crown," is progressing steadily but is not under saddle. The colt is being walked each day around the stable and he expects to have him back galloping before long. As to his future engagements, Conway has not made any definite decision. Nick Huff, agent for the Greeritree Stable, received the congratulations of racegoers upon the occasion of his son riding his first winner at Agawam Park on Tuesday. A division of the Greentree Stable, in , charge of Marshall Lilley, will be shipped to Rockingham Park on Thursday. The division comprises six two-year-olds. The final issue of the condition books for this meeting will be issued Thursday, according to Jack Campbell. Earl Sande said that Maxwell Howards Sceneshifter would be a starter in the Dwyer on Saturday. Jockey H. Dabson left for New England to join the division of the Greentree Stable to be shipped there. A division of the W. M. Jeffords stable will ie shipped to Saratoga Springs after this meeting. Trainer H. J. Thompson stated that E. R. Bradleys Brooklyn would not be a starter in the Dwyer. The three-year-old will be turned out until Saratoga opens. Trainer Fitzsimmons reported that the . Theatley Stables Snark and Melodist would be rested until the Saratoga meeting. Snark came out of his race slightly lame. W. J. Salmon was among the clubhouse visitors Wednesday. Jockey Earl Steffen returned from Chicago and resumed riding here. Jockey Eaby was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for foul riding in the second race Tuesday by order of the stewards.
