ROCKINGHAM OPENS MONDAY New Hampshire Fans to Be Treated to High Class Sport Stakes Well Filled. SALEM, N. H., June 16. Rockingham Park patrons will see in action this season the highest class of thoroughbreds that ever campaigned on the picturesque race course in Salem, N. H. Stake entries for the summer meeting, June 21 to July 10, which closed June 1, include some of the greatest sprinters and distance horses of all ages that have raced in the eastern United States. Nominations have been made by C. V. Whitney, the Greentreee Stable, the Howe Stable, Willis Sharpe Kilmer, Cleveland Putnam, Belair Stud, Wheatley Stable, Admiral Cary T. : Grayson, Araho Stable, W. H. Gallagher, W. , C. Stroube, Mrs. P. A. Shaw, Manjiassett Stable, H. W. Maxwell, Clyde Van Dusen and scores of others. The Lawrence Handicap, ,500 added, to be run on opening day, June 21, drew twenty-four entries. The distance, is six furlongs.
