CUT INGLEWOOD ADMISSIONS! Coast Fans Favored by Scale of Prices to Be Effective. Meeting at New Hollywood Park Course Opening June 10 Installing Five Soda Fountains. INGLEWOOD, Calif., April 19 Not in the memory of the oldest racegoer will thoroughbred enthusiasts be given a greater break for their money than in the scale of prices for the initial thirty-three day meeting of the Hollywood Turf Club, June 10 to July 23, released today by general manager Jack Mackenzie. They follow: grandstand, , plus tax, .10; clubhouse, .50, plus tax, .75; season box six seats, 50, plus tax, 65; season tickets to clubhouse, 0, plus tax, 5. Mackenzie not only has chopped fifty-five cents from the time-honored .30 for the clubhouse, but has begun an innovation that will be thetalk of the race world. SEASON TICKETS. In other words, he has introduced the sale of season tickets to the public for the clubhouse for the sum of 0, plus a tax. In simpler language, the public saves 5:75 for the season, or .09 a day. In addition to the unusually small charge, those holding season tickets will have free parking privileges. According to the advance sale, the season ticket innovation promises to surpass the fondest hopes of the Hollywood Turf Club officials. The racing season starts Friday, June 10, running for thirty-three days, except on Sundays and Mondays. Races will be held, however, on Monday, July 4. Post time will be 2 p. m. A new departure for race tracks will be five regular soda fountains on the grounds. The stewards and judges, as well as the camera for photo finishes, and the public address system, will be located on the roof of the new stand.
