SCENESHIFTEK, IMPROVES LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 18. While the horse was quite lame after working last Saturday, trainer Earl Sande has not . entirely given up hope of getting Maxwell Howards Sceneshifter ready for the ,000 added Clark Handicap, feature of the first days racing at Churchill Downs Saturday, April 30. The horse has been rathef brittle for some time, but Sande had hoped to nurse him along for the Clark and he may get this engagement out of the four-year-old. Scene-shifter was somewhat improved Sunday.
