1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES Despite adverse track conditions schooling was conducted Tuesday morning out of the Headley Course chute by starter William Hamiltons assistants. A number of two-year-olds received lessons at the gate, as only two members of the older division are on the schooling list thus far. Amateur riders will be an added attraction at Keeneland Friday afternoon. The race scheduled is over a distance of a mile and one-sixteenth and designed for four-year olds and upward and is expected to bring out some of the best amateur reinsmen in this section. Frank J. Kearns, trainer for the Calumet Farm stable of Warren Wright, has moved into his new quarters at Calumet Farm, which were recently outfitted for him. The Kentucky State Racing Commission license committee granted a license to apprentice J. Litrell and the youngster will be seen in colors at Keeneland for the "first time. Litrell is under contract to James Everman, Kentucky turfman.
