V CHURCHILL DOWNS N0TES While trainer George Morris is racing Say When, Blue Star and Hasty Ruth at Keeneland, he has four others at Churchill Downs. All the horses are owned by G. C. Scott and those here are Pertladdie, King Joy, Kittys Rival and Hoosiers Pride. William Smith, formerly associated with Albert Dunne, was a recent arrival at the Downs with the horses Fair Flag and Lovely Sister. Homer Pardue, whose colors have been seen here for the past several years, is preparing two horses for the coming meeting. They are Par-Queen and Par-Joyce. A. B. Letellier was here last week, having come from his home in New Orleans but left Saturday to meet his son-in-law Anthony Pelleted, at Keeneland. Letellier has several horses here under the care of Jack Hodgins who also is training a number of thoroughbreds for Pelleteri and M. L. Emerich. The horses E. R. Moulder has at Douglas Park are Glenpool, Barbara A., Pebble M., and Ada Hill. They came here from Oak-lawn Park. John Oglesby, with Marcie S. and Play-dema, was another recent arrival at the Beechmont track following a Hot Springs campaign. Max Hirsch advised Churchill Downs officials that Lancashire, owned by A. J. Sackett was definitely out of the Kentucky Derby. M. J. Brennan, Kentucky Democratic power and resident of Louisville, was a visitor at Churchill Downs Sunday morning. Brennan just returned to his home following a rest in Florida and his friends will be happy to know he is enjoying improved health.
