I HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES and Jockey R. L. Vedder was given first call to ride the horses that Prank Garrett trains. Jockey L. Dupps became indisposed and cancelled his mounts at Havre de Grace Tuesday. The lad expects to resume riding 1 shortly. I Former jockey Henry Erickson has taken over the engagement book of jockey Albert who is under contract to Charles ISchmidl, Raynor. Erickson is also handling the book of jockey Eddie Smith. Anthony Pelleteri, chief trainer of the i Millsdale Stable, stopped off at Havre de Grace en route to New York City from New Orleans to inspect a division of the Mills-dale Stable horses racing here in charge of Elmer Trueman. Jockey C. Quattlebaum, who will ride for the H. R. Bain stable in Canada during the summer, was a visitor Tuesday. Henry Stevens IL, of the H. M Stevens, Inc. checked in from New York to aid in the supervision of the concessions at Havre de Grace. Word reached here early Tuesday from St Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Md., that Allan Sternsdorff, who entered that institution on Sunday, passed away a victim of pneumonia. The deceased was a member of the ground crew employed by starter James F. Milton.
