MICKEY, away well but unable to keep up. worked his way forward steadily, was steered to the inside in the drive, drove to the front inside the final forty yards and was drawing away at the end. BINDY improved her position after five-sixteenths, lost ground entering the stretch, came fast when straightened but hung near the end. CACTUS JACK, well up from the start, wore ODDESA FLAG down in, the drive but was unable to withstand the leaders. ODDESA FLAG established a clear lead early, responded well when challenged but tired rapidly durine the final eighth. FRITZ W. had no mishaps. TRESS made up ground. CANT CATCH, slow to begin, improved its position under strong urging, wore down the leaders after reaching the final eighth and won drawing away. CATALONIA, hustled along from the start, subdued JUST TOO SWEET inside the final eighth, but was unable to withstand the winner. ODDESA PLUCKY, never far back, raced wide entering the stretch, came fast when straight and closed with a rush. JUST TOO SWEET was rushed into a commanding lead early, but tired after a half mile. LADY NADI was unable to keep up. SHERRY B. raced wide in the stretch. MISS KENTEX had no mishaps. I RUN was unprepared at the start. CONRAD F. bolted to the outside nearing the final three eighths. PRIPALADOR, rushed to the front, was unable to with- stand the winner, but held well. LAST on REVUE showed an even effort. MADRUSH moved up after five-Sixteenths, but tired in the last stages. ALAN CHICLE, unprepared at the start, improved his position after three eighths, but showed little thereafter. GREY MACK had early speed. Overweight — Social Lass, 4 pounds. TRANSIT LADY, lucky to escape interference at the start and when AUDREY L. bore to the inside on the lower turn, established a good lead after reaching the final throe quarters, was steadied along to the stretch, then responded gamely when roused and won easily. GALECO, under strong urging from the start, moved up in the drive, failed to threaten the winner, but was best of the others. AUDREY L. bore in at the start and then came over on the lower turn, was unable to keep up with the winner and tired in the drive. LITTLE REIGH had no mishaps. OBSTINATE BOY came from well back. MY TOMMIE, reserved early, moved up when called upon, wore down NORMAN D. inside the final eighth, but was unable to withstand the winner. NORMAN D., hustled into a good early lead, increased his advantage under steadving restraint, held on in fine stvle when challenged, but tired after relinquishing the lead. BALLOT BOY tired. GOODNIGHT and won drawing away. The latter, a strong factor from the start, moved into the lead in the stretch, but tired near the end. GREAT SMOKE improved his position after five-eighths and tired after offering a bold bid when inside the final eighth. FRANK C. tired. PLAYAWAY was outrun. DONNTE W. had no mishaps. SISTER JEAN quit.
