1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES I R. T. Runnels, who trains W. H. White-houses American Byrd, a nominee for the Bashford Manor Stakes, is making an effort to have Willie Garner return here from Chicago to handle the son of Byrd in that stake next Monday. Jubilesta, Mrs. B. Boganowskis three-year-old son of Insco, is to be shipped to Lincoln Fields Wednesday, according to former jockey William Boganowski. Ira Hanford has given S. W. Ward, trainer for J. N. Camden, first call on his services in the Bashford Manor Stakes. Hanford signed this morning to handle Royal Pam, the Camden entry in the race. The Millsdale Stable and Mrs. A. Pelleteris establishment, scheduled to get away for Lincoln Fields Wednesday, will not entrain until Friday, according to trainer Jack Hodgins.
