■ W 1 WHEELING DOWNS NOTES T $ i Thomas Steele, placing judge and member of Wra, J. Shelleys racing staff, was an arrival and was greatly impressed with the fine way things are moving at Wheeling Downs. One of the largest stables to race here is that of Kranz and Tracy. Their horses arrived Tuesday at the Island Course. Among those included in the string are Brilliant Stone, Black Ana, Chiefs Troubadour, Mad Bull, Rose K., Colins Quest, Mav Sheik and Can OTell. The H. C. Rumage stable consisting of Musical Jack, Akelon, Scottish Mary Free Play, Golden Crystal, Fellawake and Perfect One, arrived at the Downs Tuesday.
