CHARLES KAMAR REINSTATED NARRAGANSETT PARK. R. I., May 24. —Charles Kamar, apprentice rider of Amsterdam, N. Y., was today restored to good j standing after an appeal to the Rhode Island j division of horse racing, chairman Francis ! .1. Kiorman, presiding. Kamar was set down indefinitely by the Rhode Island board November 14, 1936. for a careless ride on the horse Reservist, November 13, 1936, but the division felt the youth had been sufficiently | punished and were ready to give him an-I other chance. The appeal was hoard at the request of Kamars contract employer, O. L. Foster, who pledged the Rhode Island division he would be personally responsible for the youths riding engagements in the future.
