MOVE BACK STAKES CLOSING CINCINNATI, Ohio, May 24.— Judge Joseph A. Murphy, who serves as director of racing at Detroit, announced today that the date for closinp nominations for the Inaugural and Col. Alger Memorial handicaps, the features to be offered at Detroit on Saturday and Monday, has been changed until noon Thursday. Judge Murphy leaves for Detroit tomorrow to open his office at the Fair Grounds Thursday and give his personal attention to closing the lists of nominations. . A —
