56,930,000 GASOLINE TAXES i NEW YORK, N. Y., May 24— The American Petroleum Industries committee has estimated that during 1937 a total of 56,-930,000 was paid in gasoline taxes. This sum marked an increase of 9,299,000 over the figures for 1936. During the last ten years gasoline taxes have mounted 98,-091,000.
