HON FY ROLL took command without need of strong pressure, was under light restraint for three-eighths, responded to strong urging thereafter and outfinished JOHNNIE DEAR. The latter, a sharp factor from the st 11 1 and. restrained to the stretch, was hard ridden thereafter, but could not get up. LUCKINGO, away well hut unable to keep up, saved ground entering the stretch and held on fairly well in the drive. PHIL ROY. fractious at the post and placed outside the stalls for the start, broke slowly, was rushed into a contending position in the opening quarter and held on fairly well thereafter. FLORENCE B. BLOND JF.STER, never a great distance back, saved ground and finished stoutly. RAPID BELLS, a sharp factor from the start, Held on well to the last eighth and then tired. PAY CHECK had speed to the last eighth and then quit. WISr" EDDIF2. forced to race wide, failed to respond to urging in the drive. GOLDEN QUEST, a factor from the start, took command after a quarter under urging and seemed to hang in the last eighth. ORMONT GIRL, hustled to hold her position early, tired near the end.
