Y., May 24.— John B. | Campbell confidently expects as many as a ] dozen starters in the old Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park Saturday. Louch-i • heims Pompoon, winner of the Dixie Handi- I I cap and top weight of the statersshrdlu rdl ; j I cap and top weight of the starters under a burden of 128 pounds. John A. Manfusos ! Aneroid, winner of the running last year, is j a recent arrival and annouced as a starter. j The Wheatley Stables Snark, like Aneroid, ; i handicapped at 120 pounds, is a sure starter and his recent mile and a furlong trial in 1:50% testifies to his fitness. KECENT BACE POOB. Caballero II., the South American which races for Mrs. Ethel D. Jacobs, though his most recent race was disappointing, is listed among the probable starters and William du Pont, Jr., may be represented by Fairy j Hill and Mandingham, though both of these, as well as Caballero II., might be considered ! as doubtful. Rex Flag, which races for Mrs. Louise Viau, is one of the probables and I Mrs. C. Oliver Iselins Strabo has trained for the running. Masked General, from the Brandywine Stable, the gelding which gave War Admiral a real scare at Pimlico last fall, is on hand for the running and is ready. The others to complete the expected field are Parker Comings Unfailing, Maemere Farm stables Maedic, Walter M. Jeffords Matey, J. W. Hirschs Mosawtre, R. A. Moores Piccolo and Edward W.
