WEIGHTS FOR CRETE HANDICAP Marica Assigned the Top Impost of 127 Pounds for Opening Day Attraction at Lincoln Fields. CRETE, 111., May 24.— Weights for the ,000 added Crete Handicap, Mondays principal opening day attraction at Lincoln Fields were announced by the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club this afternoon, with the brilliant mare Marica in the honor position at the head of the list with 127 pounds. Others greatly respected by William H. Shelley in his alloting of imposts for the race which will be decided over six furlongs, include Preeminent, with 124 pounds; Leading Article and Mucho Gusto, with 120 pounds each; Crossbow II., 118; Silverette and Talked About, 116; Reaping and Miss Dolphin, 114; Chance Ray, 112; Bien Fait, 111, and Marmara and C-Note, 109.
