"LITTLE PIG" TO NEW YORK CHICAGO, 111., Oct. 12. The little pig that went to market will have nothing on the one that went to Mayor Fiorella LaGuardia of New York today. The little, pig is the one Mayor Edward J. Kelly of Chicago wagered against a box of Mayor LaGuardias best cigars that the Chicago Cubs would whip the New York Yankees in the World Series. Brought from a farm at Libertyville, Illinois, 1 the young porker was dressed up in a blue ribbon and shipped alive to the New York mayor. Tied to the ribbon was a tag which read: "This Little Pig didnt go to Market. He went to New York from Chicago, the home of the Columbian Exposition and a Century of Progress "to prove that Chicago keeps right on producing." .In New York, it is believed, the little pig will not last much longer than the Cubs did.
