NOTRE DAME VERSUS ILLINOIS SOUTH BEND, Ind., Oct. 12. The Illinois Unversity football team for the first time in its history will come here Saturday to play Notre Dame. Last year the first of a series of games between the two universities was played at Urbana and resulted in a tie, neither team scoring. This year, Notre Dame has won the only two games thus far played, while Illinois won one and lost one. Each team is reported showing improvement and -ready for Saturdays battle.
