1 JAMAICA TURF NOTES . s Jockey J. Longden will transfer his allegiance for next season to trainer Don Cameron. Longden will be under contract to Mrs. Vera Bragg, having parted from the Wheatley Stable on amicable terms. For the first time at the meeting, six races are carded for Thursday. Seven races , ruled each day since the opening. Jockeys H. LeBlanc and H. Mora arrived and joined the local riding colony. At private terms, trainer Coyne, acting for J. E. Widener, sold to Walter Carter the two-year-old Cupids Arrow. John A. Healey purchased from J. E. Widener the juvenile Poesy, which will race in his colors from "now on. Thirty yearlings are at Elmendorf farm near Lexington, Ky., owned by J. E. Widener, which will be taken up by trainer Coyne in the "early spring. Seven of these youngsters will be chosen and then shipped to England for racing purposes. George Odom will transfer, a division of the Marshall Field-R. L. Gerry stable to Empire City for that meeting. Jockey W. D. Wright signified his intention of seeking permission from J. E. Widener to ride at Hialeah Park this winter. James F. Milton, it was said here, had been appointed general manager of racing at Oriental Park, Havana, for this winter. Milton will take over his duties following the close of the Maryland season. He is no stranger to Cuban racing and was among the pioneers who developed thoroughbreds racing in Cuba, being associated with H. D. Brown when Oriental Park was built. The Longchamps Stables Maraton came out of his race bowed and will be out for the remainder of the year, according to trainer Reuter. S. A. Cooper, Jr. claimed Bellringer out of the sixth race for ,000. A. Schwartz dropped ,000 into the box before the second race and led home Colonel Bret, formerly owned by Maxwell Howard.
