ASKS 40 CENTS HOUR MINIMUM WASHINGTON, D. C, Oct. 12. Emil Rieve, president of the American Federation of Hosiery Workers and representative on the wage-hour committee for the textile industry, stated Tuesday that he will ask a 40-cent hour minimum hourly wage during the first year the wages and hours law goes into effect.
