1 NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES I . Horace Wade tested the public address system. Tuesday morning and found everything in perfect working condition. Horace will handle the big horns during the meeting. New Haven Railroad and New England Transportation Company schedules have-been rearranged to conform with the new post time and the closing of the "Daily Double" windows. Post time at the fall meeting will be 1:15 and the "Daily Double" windows will close at 1 p. m. Because of the Thursday opening, there will be no opennig-day stake at this meeting. The inaugural purse, worth ,000, for two- . year-olds, a six furlongs affair, will occupy the feature spot. The Worcester Handicap, ,000 added six furlongs event for three-year-olds and upwards, to be run Saturday, will be the first stake of the meeting. Stakes will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the balance of the meeting. Joe Stevens, of the firm of Harry M. Stevens, Inc., is here to personally superintend the catering at the opening of the meeting.
