MINEY MYERSON broke fast and showed early speed, saved ground on the turns, but was bearing out nearing the finish. THAT ONE closed ground steadily on the inside. HAPPILY was well up all the way and had no mishaps in the running. RICCADONNA showed a good effort all the way. BILL D. broke slowly and was rushed into close quarters on the far turn. LOAFER dwelt at the f start and was ridden wide all the way. ROCKY MARGOT had no mishaps. CREDENCE could not keep up. NYMPH had no excuse. DACOTAH quit badly. RAVENNA outran her field to the first turn, was rated along under steady restraint, responded to pressure in the stretch and, while bearing out in the final sixteenth, outlasted PHARABOO. The. latter was close up and on the outside, responded in the stretch and hung on gamely to the end. THE STORY was close up on the inside from the start, was blocked on the far turn, came again on the inside, but hung in the final strides. PLAYBACK moved up with a rush when called upon, but tired at the end. OBSERVANT was taken under restraint in the early running, responded when roused nearing the far turn and then faltered. BRIGHT CHANCE responded when placed under pressure and closed with determination between the leaders. SPEED LIMIT made up ground steadily and then finished well. NEWARK was a trailer to the stretch turn. SQUIRREL tired badly after forcing the pace. ACE OF TRUMPS was bearing-out- rounding the first turn and was kept under severe pressure all the way.
