SOFTENING TOWARD WINDSORS LONDON, England, Nov. 8 The Due and Duchess of Windsor and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are to meet in Paris Friday, giving the first public evidence of reconciliation between the ex-king and members of the British Royal family, the London Evening Standard said today. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are returning from a trip to Kenya, East Africa. They will disembark at Marseilles and fly to Paris, where the Windsors will await them. The Evening Standard said that the Paris meeting has been arranged with the blessing of King George VI. and predicted that the Duke and Duchess of Windsor would visit England early in 1939.
