I BAY MEADOWS TURF NOTES f S : - The W. E. Boeing stable loses the services of the speedy Roy T., which came out of his engagement last Saturday slightly lame, and it has not been determined how grave the injury is. The colt may have a spread foot. Alex the Great, which failed to race to expectations in his Bay Meadows engagements, will be inactive for an indefinite period, having undergone the blistering process for ankle infirmities. Jockey Jack Pollard, who has been convalescing in a Boston hospital, has recovered sufficiently to make the trip to California and will arrive by. plane the latter part of this week. Pollard is under call to C. Si Howard.
