j CHOBMIST ATTRACTS TWELVE Crack Band of Sprinters Named for . Headliner at Narragansett Park Rain Predicted. PAWTUCKET, R. I., Nov. 8 An even dozen horses have accepted in the six furlongs Chopmist Handicap, which features the midweek sport at Narragansett Park. The event is open to all ages. Felix Spatblas Wise Prince, consistent veteran of a long campaign in this section, heads the field, from the standpoint "of weight, carrying 118 pounds. However, at the weights it is likely that Hall and Warrenders Natty Boy will be a slight favorite over him. Six furlongs is his best distance and he has shown the way to some of the fastest sprinters in the country at that distance upon occasions this summer and fall. It is likely that Natty Boy will be right around 3 to 1, with Wise Prince a point better. Clodion, which has worked well for the contest and rates close up off the past performances, will be one of the better-backed members of the field and appears a formidable contestant. He is in under 115 pounds. Mr. Blaze will carry the same package, but wants mud to run his best. J. A. Nix will send forth a sharp and dangerous contender in the fast-working Wood-saw, a winner at this point in impressive fashion. He has none the worst of the weights in the Chopmist at 106. Clocks, a fast one, has also been treated kindly, with the postage-stamp impost of 109 on his back. Others in the field will be outsiders. They are Sargazo, Bachelor Dinner, Dunade, War-laine and Cisneros. Sargazo and Cisneros will be coupled as the A. E. Silver entry. Summerlike weather prevailed early today, the overhead conditions becoming cloudy later. The weather bureau, however, predicts rain for tonight. .
