Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third the same. PIXEY DELL, in near pursuit of the pace from the start, moved up arid into command when urged, then drew away at the finish and was under mild hand urging. ESSJAYTEE improved his position on the outside from a slow beginning, lost ground rounding the stretch turn, swerved to the inside at the eighth post and finished well. BE QUAINT was well up from the start and responded when urged, but had no mishaps at the end. AT PLAY, slow to begin and outrun early, made up some ground at the end. "J PRINCE WICK was poorly ridden throughout, lost much ground rounding the stretch turn and closed; on his own courage to hold BY THE SWORD safe. The latter improved his position on the inside, responded i gamely nearing the finish and closed fast. BIG REBEL set a fast early pace, disposed of QUAKERSTREET I and came again at the end. WIBM was kept close up from the start and finished well. GAME RUNNER: had early speed. QUAKERSTREET was close to the early pace, but was rank at many of her jumps and then tired. WILD SON dropped back after the start and was outrun throughout thereafter. TAM OSHANTER had no excuses in the running. QUALITY FOLK lost rider at fifth jump. TORTURER followed the early pace under steady restraint, improved his position when urged, Ios ground at several of his jumps after assuming command and was in hand at the end. PRATTLER jumped well and close up from the start, made a determined bid nearing the final half mile, but could not menace the winner, although finishing gamely. SUMATRA forced a fast early pace, made a bad landing at the eighth fence and, after recovering, was sent up with a rush on the inside, only to tire at the end. SNOBBY SCAMP jumped well, was close up all the way and had no excuses. AD LIB was outrun early, then made a bad landing at the thirteenth fence, but could not menare the leaders at any stage. OUR SAILOR showed speed the first turn of the field, then quit. SHIP EXECUTIVE fell at the fifth fence. A claim was lodged against the winner for alleged interference at the fourteenth fence, which was not allowed. TIOGA was kept in a forward position all the way and finished well, but could not menace the winner. BLACKCOCK showed a good effort all the way. The saddle slipped in the final quarter mile. FLYING FEATHERS was outrun from the start. SEA TED fell at the ninth fence. TARBRUSH fell at the second fence and SANTI QUARANTI unseated rider when he ran over him.
