FAST FLIGHT worked his way forward on the outside, raced to the leaders with a rush rounding the turn, swung to the outside, then crossed in front of the leaders when moving to the front and drew out smartly, but was disqualified. FOREVER GREEN was close up from the beginning, was shuffled back entering the stretch when FAST FLIGHT crossed over, then came again to finish gamely. JEST ONCE was prominent in the early running and held on tenaciously to the finish. GAY CASINO had good speed and raced in the better fooling, but could not stay. SUNNY ROSE raced on the outside and finished willingly. BROAD STRIPES raced in spots. WINNING STREAK was unable to threaten. LYNXHOLM broke very slowly. SUN ANTIOCH began swiftly, stalled off stout opposition from GOLDEN SILENCE, saved much ground entering the stretch and withstood a vigorous drive to stall off SURPRISE BOX. The latter raced forwardly placed early and came willingly in the late stages to be wearing the winner down gradually. GOLDEN SILENCE forced a steady pace and continued willingly under a hard drive. BREAD KING was always prominent and was best of the others. MAN AT ARMS, away poorly, closed a big gap. ELLABEE was forced wide after breaking slowly. PRINCESS TORCH raced evenly. GRAND DUKE was never a threat. SUMMER HAIL had no mishaps. MAD FRUMP outran his field to move into an easy lead, was steadied for the first mile; responded gamely to a hard drive and outstayed HOWARD. HOWARD, going well placed from the start, raced to the winner midway of the Final turn, but failed to make up any ground under punishment during the closing drive. SUNTOSUN was prominent all during the running and held on well, although no threat to the first two. PACKAGE saved ground to better his position, but was not dangerous. DARKLING raced evenly. IDLE WAY moved up fast, was taken to the outside on the turn, but hung after getting into a forward position. DEVILS MATE was used up racing with BLUEFIELD and tired after getting to the front. CIENCIA was prominent all the way, lost ground on the final turn, then came again at the close. IMPOUND followed the early pacemaker closely, made a stout bid on the final turn, then tired. TIN DEVIL could not better his position. DARK. WATCH closed a big gap. TIME ALONE was steadied, but failed to rally when shaken up. SURE OFF was never a factor. CHIEF ONAWAY was held safe. The latter, settled in stride and finished full of run on the outside in the last half mile. FREDALVA was steadied close to the pacemaker arid held on with good energy in the final issue. GLISTEN was prominent early and held on well in the closing drive. DIGNITARY was rated until challenged, but failed to stay. SEA FINN could not keep up. TWO ACES closed a big gap. FRENCH TRAP dropped back early, moved up fast on the inside on the final turn, then tired when kept in the deep footing. ANCIENT ROME tired early. JOLYON was never dangerous. LATER ON raced wide from the start, moved up fast to reach the winner midway of the stretch, then lugged to the inside after going to the winner on the outside. BALAPIN raced close up all the way and held on gamely. QUEEN ELIZABETH showed a good effort. WOULD DARE was kept out in the better footing, but failed to threaten. He pulled up slightly lame.
