RUN ON ARMISTICE DAY SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 8. The San Rafael Handicap, originally scheduled for Oct. 15, but which was cancelled for lack of nominations, will be run Armistice Day. The distance has been reduced from one and one-sixteenth miles, to six furlongs. Nominations for the event will be taken Wednesday. The purse is ,000 added, and horses of all ages are eligible.
