KILL TEN MANILA BANDITS MANILA, P. I., Nov. 8. In an assault on a large band of outlaws known as the "Pulhanes," an army of approximately 300 constabulary today raided their stronghold near Passi-Cloilo Province, killing ten. The leader and the rest of the band escaped, however. The constabulary soldiers were pressing into the forests after the fleeing marauders. The campaign was begun after the "Pulhanes" ambushed and killed two constabulary men, who were escorting a shipment of election material.
