MINORS HOST TO LARGE CROWDS DURHAM, N. C, Nov. 8. W. G. Branham, president of the National Association of Professional Leagues, has released figures for the 1938 season showing that 15,500,000 fans visited ball parks in thirty-seven minor leagues. This represented an increase of 2,000,000 over last year.
