NEW YORK TURF NOTES E. L. Snyder, who will train the C. V.Whitney horses next year, was a recent Lexington, Ky., visitor inspecting the stock that will race under the Whitney banner. Twelve coming two-year-olds comprise the stable. Dabney Harrison left for Baltimore for a week on a business trip. John Gaver with the division of the Greeri-tree Stable that raced in Kentucky is due at Belmont Park this week. Later the Miami division will be chosen and jockey E. Arcaro will accompany the shipment.. Frank Hackett will ship the Mrs. John Hertz horses to Cary, Illinois, next week to go into winter quarters. Six horses will comprise the- shipment. Nine yearlings are at. thcillliTois farm.
