SH0CKLEY WILL IMPORT MORE SOUTH AMERICANS NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 6. Clarence Shockley, eastern turfman who imported Caballero II. and Sahri II. among other Chilean horses of consequence, stopped off in New Orleans for several days en route to Chile and Buenos Aires, where he expects to select some South American-breds for racing in the United States next year. Shockley has been quite successful with his importa--tions in the past and was one of the first of American turfmen to see the possibilities in the Chilean horses. Shockley plans to purchase four, and possibly six, foreign-breds during his stay in the Tropics. The purchases will be shipped to the United States via New Orleans, and will probably make their North American debuts next spring in the East. Shockley will leave New Orleans by boat the latter part of the week.
