CONFIRM SALE OF "L" STEEL NEW YORK, N. Y., Dec. 6. Without assurance that the 19,800 tons of steel from the Sixth Avenue elevated will not become Cannon fodder in Japan or Europe, the Board of Estimate yesterday confirmed the sale of the structure for 0,000, to George L. Weiss-baum. At the same time, it became known that Weissbaum has taken in, as partner, .lorris L. Machlin, who admitted at the Btormy meeting that he has shipped steel to Japan for war purposes.
